Inside
tag:We completed an aerial mission at Ash Grove Cement Plant that spanned over 230 acres of the site. We produced a variety of deliverables aimed at streamlining operations and efficiently manage maintenance requirements. This endeavour required meticulous planning and coordination with management to ensure both safety and effective problem-solving, all while minimizing downtime on-site.
Covering the expansive site, our Mapping & Modelling services employ RGB photogrammetry to generate Orthomosaic maps and 3D Models. Our drone operations adhere to regulations and encompass post-processing work, guaranteeing accuracy and precision. The mapping and modelling deliverables are conveyed to the client through interactive online views, along with a variety of file types.
Assigned with a critical pre-heater tower inspection at Ash Grove Cement Plant, we conducted a manual drone flight to capture high-resolution imagery and generate a 3D model. This approach facilitated the detection of structural issues and maintenance needs. Overcoming challenges presented by the tower's height and complex architecture, we provided a comprehensive report to Ash Grove Cement Plant. This report pinpointed areas of concern and included repair and maintenance recommendations. To help Ash Grove easily locate and identify any issues, we also provided an online viewer with high-resolution photos geolocated on the 3D model of the tower.
Our Stockpile Analysis accurately quantified the raw material volume within the stockpile to enhance inventory management and logistics. Overcoming the limitations of traditional measurement methods, our team employed drones and 3D modelling to capture high-resolution images and process a 3D model using specialized software. This innovative approach allowed us to precisely calculate the stockpile's volume, providing Ash Grove Cement Plant with accurate inventory data. This method proved swifter, safer, and more cost-effective than traditional techniques, efficiently optimizing the plant's operations and logistical processes.
