A LiDAR scan was conducted on the basement retail unit of St. James United Church in Waterdown to obtain precise measurements in preparation for leasing. The scan data was utilized to create detailed CAD floor plans, ensuring an accurate representation of the unit's layout. An area analysis was performed according to the BOMA 2020 Standard Method of Measurement for Retail Properties, focusing on a partial measurement to determine both the occupant area and gross leasable area. The final deliverables included a comprehensive report featuring PDF floor plans and calculations, providing clear and accurate information essential for lease negotiations.
